CONSULTATION & ENGAGEMENT

The devil is in the details as they say, and in our initial conversation, we discuss your trip ideas, your travel style and past experiences, your expectations for your upcoming travel and and questions you may have for me – I like to call it the “get to know each other” phase.

 

Once we decide to move forward, I charge a non-refundable fee between $300-$500* for trip research, planning and development of your customized itinerary.  I take in consideration seasonality, travel logistics, budget, and the nuances we discussed that fully personalize your travel experience.  A proposal is presented that encompasses your flight preferences, accommodations, touring and activities. We then can review and make any changes needed until your final approval.  If more time is needed due to substantial trip changes, additional fees could apply.

* For groups larger than 8 people, which require additional coordination and assistance, $500-$750 per trip

 

TRIP IMPLEMENTATION

Once approved, we move into the booking stage and confirm all arrangements.  Depending on the scope of the trip, I may engage one of my many well-vetted partners-on-the-ground to assist in bookings (villa, apartment or car rentals; activities, touring, classes, excursions; securing expert guides and/or drivers and/or hotels; arranging transportation).

 

ADDITIONAL FEES

• Trains: $50 per booking

• Airline Ticketing: $50-$100 per person

• Last Minute Planning: Trips scheduled to start six weeks or less from the engagement of services require additional time and attention, $100-$200 per trip

• Concierge Services: More than 2 dining reservations and any performance ticketing needs, $100-$200 per trip

• ​Cancellation: All bookings are subject up to a 15% cancellation fee regardless of the reason.

Before you depart, I make sure you have all information needed regarding travel insurance, TSA requirements, VISA & Passport information, any new travel guidelines or procedures, tipping recommendations, etc.  I provide a customized itinerary app so you will have all documentation at your finger-tips, at all times.  This could include all reservations, confirmation numbers, rail tickets, destination information, maps and directions, contact information, etc.  Providing a seamless, customized trip from start to finish is my goal so all you have to do is experience and enjoy!
